Merry Christmas to all
We sailed across the Coral Sea and into the big vast of the Pacific Ocean. During our trip to Fiji no ships or whales were spotted. We were at sea by ourselves.
We sailed into Fiji to warm air and sunny skies like we were back home in sunny Florida.
We anchored offshore and cruised into port on a small boat to enjoy day
So, I leave you with these pictures and a little poem where some words were borrowed and others not
It was the night before Christmas, no stir in the air,
no stir in the sea the ship was still as she could be.
The decorations were hung by the tree in the centrum,
in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The passengers were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of adventures were in their heads.
When out on the deck there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the lanai I flew like a flash,
tore open the curtain, and threw open the slider.
The moon on the crest reflected off the water
gave the luster of midday to all viewers,
when, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than seagulls, his reindeer came,
and he whistled and shouted and called them by name:
“Now Dasher! Now Dancer!
Now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid!
On, Donner and Blitzen!
Now dash away! Dash away!
As he flew away
He bellowed Merry Christmas to all onboard the ship “Brilliance of the Seas”
