Travel with Giddy

Welcome to the world of travel! Traveling is an exhilarating and transformative experience that opens up new horizons, broadens your perspective on life.

Meeting fellow passengers

Our trip to Greece and then cruising back to USA has been filled with many great adventures and plenty of time to be ourselves on this adventure. During the cruise portion of our trip, we opted to have a shared table for dinner.

This is a great way to meet a variety of people.  We met couples from Canada, southern California, Europe and even Clearwater FL. A typical two-hour dinner gives just enough time to get a brief glimpse of how others feel about their travel experience we have undertaken and find out a little bit about them and they about us.
We had a couple gift us a bottle of wine. Another couple gave us a coin to commemorate police officers, this coin is destined for a friend who retired from the Montgomery County MD Police force.  Jim spoke with another person who retired from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) and they discussed nuclear power.  Another couple, a retired pediatrician and his wife were interesting from how medicine has changed over the years.

We met a couple who lives in our childhood hometown, Willow Street, PA. They moved into Willow Valley a few years ago when they retired to be closer to family and friends in NJ/NY.

As we walk through the ship, people will wave when they recognize they have dined with us. All of these brief moments have created great experiences. Thanks to them all.
